The Squaring of the Circle
In Mahatma Letter 59, the Master points out that the limitless Absolute is “non-existent outside the triangle” and “the square.” We may well puzzle over this statement and its connection with the re-emerging Universe.
In essence, it would appear to mean in the light of the above: the Absolute cannot manifest or come into “limited” existence without the tripartite process. The triangle refers to those three stages which lead to the manifestation of the objective universe and all we see about us. The actual “objectification,” however, is represented in the Masters’ teachings by the geometric figure of the square. And so the mysterious saying of “squaring the circle” refers to none other than the appearance of the universe into objectivity as a result of these three stages.
